Some would say it’s a place where a bunch of misfits all fit in and do creative things separately, but together.
Anywho, at that studio she met a very creative video producer called Daisy, who she soon discovered loved crafting just as much as she did. They also shared a mutual love of electronic and technical house music. That’s only vaguely relevant to the story, for reasons I won’t bore you with, but it solidified their crafty friendship and soundtracked many a crafternoon to come.
One sunny crafternoon, about one year after they met, Geraldine was sad yet overjoyed to learn Daisy was moving into a studio of her very own with her husband, Jack, who was also a very creative film maker. There were mixed emotions for Geraldine, as she realised her crafty friend would soon be leaving. But, alas, this opened up a golden opportunity to discover uncrafted territory in Daisy’s new studio, a practical and very large shed, located not too far away, on Clyde Street in Hamilton North.
All was right again in the world of craft.
The crafting continued, where they sought to solve the world’s problems, sometimes sip wine or coffee, occasionally crafted, and hatched a very exciting plan to hold a market day.
Which brings us to the point of this very nice and happy story.
Daisy decided she would kindly open up her studio to some very interesting and creative local artists, makers and creators to hold a Christmas Market celebrating all things pink and handmade.
Which brings us to the happily ever after where everyone came along to a handmade Pink Christmas Market, 8am-4pm on Sunday 18 December at Shed 3, 50 Clyde St Hamilton.
Anywho that’s the end of this happily crafted tale. Or maybe it’s just the beginning. Who knows.
We really hope to see you at the Pink Christmas Market on Sunday 18 December, which would be the perfect place for you to find a local Christmas gift for your loved ones, or a treat for yourself, while supporting your local community. There will be handmade jewellery, original artwork, weavings, local honey and much more available. Please add a reminder to your calendars so you don’t forget, during the busy time of year, and share this epically crafted story far and wide and invite all your friends and family to visit. We’d love to meet you!
The end.
